Can't create a pdf

I used this program off and on for several years and have never been able to create a pdf. When I try I just get a progress window that never makes a functional file. It does create a pdf file but it is empty and the progress window never finishes.
I am on version 7.0.2

What is going on?

I upgraded to 7.5, still won't create a pdf?? Same exact behavior

Creating a PDF is the same as printing to PDF. Instead of using the menu function Print to PDF you can install a PDF printer driver and print to that "printer" with the Print function. There are many (free) PDF printers you can download so if one doesn't work as you like you can simply uninstall it and try another one.

Tried using the microsoft print to pdf on Win 11 but that did not work. Will try a third party version
