3d rendering without shadows from the sun (indoor)

Post by A1ucar2d »

Hi,

I'm searching for a way to render a 3D picture from my design without the indoor shadow from the sun.

Picture from the model room:
Link to picture (OneDrive)

In Detail: I need to have an open view into the rooms, but for the rendering the system have to think that the rooms have an ceiling.

I've tryed already to use following plug-in:
PhotoVideoRendering-2.8

can someone help my?

thank you so far.

kind regards

Hi, Try this way. Create two invisible light panels. The first one is at the ceiling height larger than the entire spatial plan, say strength 4. The second one is the same size, just raised from the floor maybe 1 cm and rotated 180 degrees so that the light goes towards the ceiling, say strength 2. When rendering, set the time to midnight. In the floor settings, deactivate the ceiling not to be displayed. The result should be satisfactory.

If you want to preserve sunlight coming from windows, you can use this method:

Bonjour,
