How to render 3d view with wireframe?

Can I customize the 3d view, so that the furniture does not have texture and dos not look "solid" but only show a wire frame view - you only see the outline, but no texture. Does the furniture import add a

texture by default, sicce i notice my furnitures were created without texture only in wireframe, but they were imported with gray texture and looked solid.

How can I get the import functionality to not add the texture, but keep the original wireframe view???

jjohnsson, first, please, please, use shorter titles.
Second, this forum is run by volunteers, so avoid words like "urgent", before all since this subject was already mentioned in this thread, and you could find it by simply searching for "wireframe" with search engine.
Finally, it would be nice to present your project to the community. Open source is also about sharing ideas... [:)]
