It’s something I didn’t take into account during the initial implementation, especially regarding side views.

I’ve noted it as a potential feature for a future update, as it would definitely improve usability in workflows involving section views.

At the moment, I need to stay focused on a larger free plugin project that I’ve been developing over the past few years. Both the Furniture Dimensions Plugin and the Material Selector Plugin https://www.sweethome3d.com/support/for ... read,14706 are actually inspired by this bigger project, although they are designed to work independently and can be useful in many different scenarios.
