CHANGING colour in plan view

Hi,

I'm drawing a floorpan for a house extension.


I've drawn the existing plan and I'm happy with what I have. The walls are shown with 'hatching effect which looks good.

I'm now adding the extension. I'd like those walls to appear in a different colour in the plan view so it stands out.

I've set the top of the wall colour in wall properties but this changes the colour in the 3D view.

How do I change it in the 2D plan view ?

You can change the (cross-)hatching of walls in the Preferences menu.

I have done that and used poly line in chosen colour to outline the extension.
