Corners won't stay

Hello, this is driving me crazy! No matter what I do or how many times I redo it my corners just will not stay joined! every corner that I join breaks apart after I close and reopen the file.
I cannot figure out what to do to make this stop. I created a lot of homes with no issue but this has been happening the last 2 weeks. Are there any fixes that anyone knows of?
