Just purchased v6.4.7 from Mac App Store and Big Sur 11.1 - Crashes won't open

Just purchased from the Apple Mac App store and it tries to open, but doesn't actually open - just crashes.

Trying to see what I need to do to install but everything references an older version of Sweet Home 3D and not v6.4.7.

Java is installed and everything I download directly from your website also crashes and doesn't open.

Running macOS Big Sur v11.1 on a MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2019)

Looking for direction, was referred to this product from multiple people, excited to give it a whirl.

Could you try to run it from a Terminal window?
Open Terminal application, drag and drop Sweet Home 3D icon on Terminal window, add [font=courier new]/Contents/MacOS/SweetHome3D[/font] after [font=courier new]Sweet\ Home\ 3D.app[/font] to obtain something like:

/Applications/Sweet\ Home\ 3D.app/Contents/MacOS/SweetHome3D

Then, press <enter> and copy paste here the text that will be displayed. This could help fix your issue.

Running to this exact same issue. When I followed your instructions above to run it through terminal I was successful in getting the program to launch. Any thoughts?

Could you check if you have this issue with the free version 6.4.2 and in the beta version 6.5?

Joan20, your last message made me think you was a Ubuntu user. Did you change your computer? Does it run from a Terminal window?
