How to creat a dwelling (flat) of a few rooms?

Hello,

I want to deaw a flat. Is there only the possibility to create the flat at one time with create "room"? I would like to create a flat that way, that I connect some created rooms. Is there a possibility?

If I create 2 Rooms and put them closed together, I have not found, how to connect this rooms.

My problems are: If I create Walls around this rooms (doubleclick), I create 2 walls between the rooms and the walls are not exactly betwenn the rooms. Of cours not because I put the rooms freehand closed together. This may works with 2 Rooms but not with a couple more rooms.

If I create a Flat with one room, the m² is only shown for the whole flat but not for the rooms.

So is there a possibility? The buttons name is create room and not create flat?!!? Thats mame me think that I just having found, what I´m looking for.

As suggested in user's guide, you should create walls first, then create rooms within the walls.
The ability to create walls around a room was added afterwards ; this feature is interesting when you want to draw only one single room, because you don't have to take into account wall thickness when you draw a room first.

What measurements will allow me to design a 2 bedroom one bath condo we just bought ?

I have only 1 hour to measure the whole place.

Please include everything possible, then, I will make a list and check off each one when it is measured. Then, I can use this program accurately.
