Menu and tool bar disappeared

A drawing I have been working on and modifying no longer shows the menu and tool bar. I cannot find any way in the documentation to toggle them back on. If I start the app in an attempt to create a new drawing (so I can cut and paste from the old one) that would presumably show the menu and tool bar, it brings up my old drawing instead.

It sounds that you experienced a crash of Sweet Home 3D, and it's unable to use the file it created for a possible recovery. You should remove the file [font=courier new].recovered[/font] file from the folder [font=courier new]recovery[/font] which depends on your system. See this thread for more information.

I am running Windows10.
AT C:>users>(me)>AppData>Roaming>Sweet Home 3d> recovery
There is no .recovered file there.
What else can I try?
