Levels Elevation Change

Post by snmavronis »

In the Modify Level dialog box if I change the 3 level's elevations so that the basement is 0' elevation and adjusted the other 2 levels relative to that, do each item's elevations within each level adjust accordingly so everything looks the same as before? I want to raise the entire house so I can make the proper landscape outside that slopes away from the house, because ground level is several feet below the main level elevation.

If you just want to raise the whole design, you should add the same value to the elevation of each level.

For example then I should just add 7’9 7/8” to each level.

Yes, just add 7’9 7/8” in your case.
Anyway, keep in mind that Sweet Home 3D proposes 2 guardrails when you make an error: undo and reloading the current home without saving it [;)]

Yes the undo feature is quite generous.
