Online version Save?

Hi,
I have registered and I am logged in, but in the Online version it doesn't seem to detect this as there is no way to save etc. and at the top of the screen it still tells you how to register and login. When I login using this link it just returns me back to the login screen after I have entered my details etc.
any ideas?

Could you tell me the browser and system you use?
Does it still fail when you click on "Yes, automatically log me on for ..." checkbox in the login page?

I am using a Windows XP SP3 machine and using both IE8 and FireFox 3.5.3.
It happens on both browsers and when I've ticked the login for a month option.
