Travelling in the 3D view

Hello.
I appreciate a lot SH3D, I was able to do a complex house quite quickly, once I understood the few tricks (like making walls first).

I model an old, big house with a very long and narrow garden. When I added the garden to the plan, it made the 3D view very hard to navigate, as it is always centered on the middle of the model.

So, do I miss something? In other words, in the 3D view, I can:
- zoom in and out
- rotate the view up and down
- rotate the view left and right

But can I do side steps? I would like, for example, to center the view on a specific room and look around.

I know I can go into virtual visit mode, but it not exactly what I want, I would like something intermediate: decentered aerial view.

If it is not possible, perhaps you can see that as a feature request?
