Default furniture with install

Post by otadmin »

When I download Sweethome3D and run it some default furniture is available. Examples are "Box, Cylinder and Triangle". They do not show up in the Furniture-Editor nor can I find a .sh3f file containing those.

Question: Where are the furniture-items found when SH is run without any .sh3f files?

The default furniture is stored in the file Furniture.jar found in the lib subfolder of Sweet Home 3D installation folder. If need, you can remove it from there, open it with the Furniture Library Editor and save it in a SH3F file that you'll import in Sweet Home 3D.

Note : the original post mentioned Furniture.zip file not Furniture.jar.

Found and saved as .sh3f. But in both versions 6.4 and 6.6 the file is called furniture.jar. Opens with the editor no problem.

Oups, sorry you're right the default furniture is stored in Furniture.jar not Furniture.zip. I should have double checked before answering.
