positioning of windows relative to corner?

positioning of windows relative to corner?

hello,

when i want to place a window the location is given in x,y which are absolute coordinates. Is there a comfortable way to use e.g. the distance from the perpendicular wall?

This distance is displayed only when you move a window with the mouse.
