Furniture/objects stretching out and buggy all of the sudden?

Hello sweethome friends. I have been using this software for ages and never encountered this before...as of just a few days ago, the 3D preview of my plan no longer shows objects or furniture correctly. Instead, the objects appear "stretched" and create long, black, spikey renders instead of a preview of the item.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled, downloaded the plug ins and tried again, but to no avail. I have had zero issues until just a few days ago. It makes the 3D preview of my work as I go literally unviewable and it's super frustrating because I have projects I am working on and have to finish asap!

Your issue looks like the recent bug described here coming from a regression in AMD driver. Please install driver version 22.5.1 to go back to a working solution.
If you have the time, it would be nice to report this issue to AMD so they can fix it.
