Sweet Home 3D is a free interior design application

This is the text at the beginning of the User Guide. Is the concept that one is to use another program for the exterior design and then import it somehow?

You can use this software for exterior design too. Browse the gallery section of the forum, there are many wonderful exterior renderings.

It's probably historical because it started as an interior design application. Since than it has evolved into much more. You can build the actual house with opening doors and windows and there's even a terrain generator plugin to extend landscaping outside the house. You can add lights, mirrors, and see-through water and from there create photo realistic pictures and video. One of the last additions is the possibility to import characters you created with the open source MakeHuman application.

Even if it allows to design also exteriors some way, I still think that the main purpose of Sweet Home 3D is for interior design.
But it could be nice to update the introduction of the user's guide, because there's room in that page to give more details about Sweet Home 3D. Not sure I would be ok to update the index page too, because it requires a shorter text for newcomers.

Feel free to propose some improvements for the user's guide. You might have some good ideas! [;)]
