Debian: Crash SweetHome3D on startup

Try startup SweetHome3D and have a problem:
java: ../../src/xcb_io.c:461: _XRead: Assertion `dpy->xcb->reply_data != 0' failed.

In the FAQ there's a section on installation problems: have a look. Also, this question has been dealt with already many times before on this forum. Have a look at the messages.

I had problems using Ubuntu 9.04, but since upgrading to Ubuntu 9.10 SH3D works like a charm, because the video drivers were updated.

I don't know if this may help but looking for "java: ../../src/xcb_io.c:461: _XRead: Assertion `dpy->xcb->reply_data != 0' failed" may give you answers.
