Break lines on floor plans

Is there a way to insert break lines on a floor plan? Break lines in the sense that the floor plan is interrupted to only show the part that's needed. The zig-zag line in architectural plans, like in the top left image at https://i0.wp.com/theconstructor.org/wp ... C268&ssl=1
