Change Orientation Of Dimensional Lumber

When placing a piece of lumber from Dimensional Lumber on the 2d Plan, for example a 2"x4"x8', the 4" side is on the flat plane. How can I re-orient the lumber so that the 2" side is on the flat plane?

In the "Modify furniture" dialog you can rotate the object on the X or Y axis.
