Application hard crash when importing backgound image

New potentially paid user here. I have tried the 7.5 free version and all works ok there, I am able to import background image (blueprint).

I have installed the v7.6.3 Microsoft Store (1546) and went with the trial to see if I am willing to pay for the newer app and more content.

But right away when I select "choose image" on Background Image popup the application is hard crashing. [>:)]

I run the app on a basic HP laptop:

Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1135G7 @ 2.40GHz 2.42 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
