Turning off shadows

Hello,

Is it possible to somehow turn the shadows off in rendering (best quality)? I need to have a picture without any shadows on the walls, floors etc.

You cannot turn off shadows, but you could choose a time of day, date and geographic location where there are no shadows. Think summer solstice on the equator...

Can you help me and give me exact data for the advanced photo plugin where there will be no shadows?

1 - Click Plan --> Modify compass
2 - Set Latitude to N 0.0 or S 0.0
3 - Click OK
4 - Click 3D view --> Create photo
5 - Choose Quality 3 or 4
6 - Set Time to 12:00 PM
7 - Click Create to start rendering.

Note: You don't need the Advanced Photo plug-in. These functions have been integrated into the program since version 3.0. Upgrade to the latest version here .

You can't turn off shadows. Light and shadows are inheritant to photo rendering. That's why you can set the parameters Hans mentioned.
The tips Hans gave you placed the sun exactly above your project which should get rid of most of the (side way) shadows.

Basically, to have no shadows you have to have no light. It is what photo rendering does. The closest you can come to no shadows is to carefully compensate every shadow with counter-lights without creating new shadows. Placing lights to neutralize shadows. That doesn't mean there are no shadows, just that you diffused them with more light.

You can also try to set the time to midnight so there's no outside sunlight and un-check "Add ceiling lights". Than use multiple "Invisible inward light half sphere" objects to light the room.
Check out this thread from GaudiGalopin3324 who is an expert in using these objects to lighten rooms and furniture. It's a very long thread but you can learn a lot about using light sources.

A fast method is adding a white texture (texture - not colour!) to the sky and render at midnight with the skylight enabled.
Might do the trick.
