Wrong color in imported model

Why when I picked up a furniture from a site like google the furniture out deformed or discolored, despite being in the right format

Not every model can be imported correctly, especially 3DS models cause problems (sometimes these files are just wrong).

Try furniture at Collada format from Google Warehouse. They cause less problem, even if many 3DS files work correctly too (see comments at 3D models import page).
