There is no uninstall link in 3.7 version.

Hi,

On my newly setup Win7 machine, I installed SweetHome3D 3.7 with Java Web Start. All the Java stuffs was updated.

Starting the program also pop another window named "Starting application" and "Downloading application" with only a cancel button on it. Not sure I should leave this window on or click the cancel button. I mostly leave it on.

Anyway, the program is so slow, importing furniture or moving object is so slowwwww. Virtual or Aerial view is so very slow too.

So I though the Java Web Start option is a mistake. I want to uninstall it and re-install the Window Installer version.

But No way, the program is not listed in Control Panel's program list. No uninstall link from the program menu. Not showing in CCleaner program list too.

How do I uninstall? Help...

It seems that Java Web Start 7 is still buggy, because the download screen doesn't remain under Java 6.
To uninstall it, go to Windows control panel, double click on the Java icon to show Java control panel, then view the temporary Internet files where you can remove Sweet Home 3D.

Hello ! Same happened with me and follow the instruction . It all worked . Thank you. It might help : My system is Windows 8 and installed the 64 bit version of SH4 . On my computer was not slow, but I prefer to use the installer because it opened the window mentioned in the post and the icon was white. My attention to 32bit it says next to my Java version is 7. I hope I helped .I use a translator.
