Draw walls and rooms

I am new with this application please bear with me.

Drawing my house, I draw the walls but now I came to to draw rooms.
1 – Rooms if draw next to each other they have only a line divide them when
you should have walls, or this rooms suppose to fit inside the walls.
2 – Should I draw rooms before the walls or vice versa.

Rooms should be within walls but there's no obligation for that, unless you want to display its exact area.
As explained in the user's guide, it's easier to create walls then rooms. But some users prefer to create rooms first because walls length is measured in their middle.
Note that double clicking in an area surrounded by walls lets you create easily a room.
