Linux Intel HD3000 issues

Post by craigdabbs »

Hi there,

I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction to get this program working in 3D mode, i can run the 2D version with no issues.

When launching the 3D version if errors out and writes a log file, it has a issue with libgl.

I can run glxgears to test the opengl on my laptop and it runs fine so im hoping its just a config issue between java and the 3d system.

log from sweethome3d

glxinfo output - http://pastebin.com/htdAfpKp

Hope someone can give some insight :)

Thanks

Craig

Craig,

Which version of which operating system are you using?
Have you read the FAQ ?

Craig,

My first try would be to
- uninstall IcedTea Java and
- install Oracle/Sun Java.

This solved some problems for me (Ubuntu 12.04) and some others.
