Unable to use after previous installation

Hi, i download Sweet Home 3d a little over a month ago and was using for a project for school. Months after first installing it and using it frequently it has disappeared and when i obtain the original DMG installer again, the icon that should be above "Sweet Home 3d" does not exist and i am unable to click on it. Every thing seemed to be working prior to this and i am unsure of why this occurring. Help would be greatly appreciated, deadlines must be reached [;)]

My system is a Mac OSX 10.6.8
