Change the Intro Image

Hello all,

First I want to congratulate the community and the developers for its great job. Secondly I m wondering if I can or its allowed to change the first picture (when I open the program) with my own.

It depends on what you want to do with the modified version.
If you want to keep it for private/internal use, the GNU General Public License lets you modify the program like you want (see the FAQ Does the GPL require that source code of modified versions be posted to the public?).
If you want to redistribute the modified version, then you'll have to do it under the same GNU GPL license, showing clearly copyrights notice and providing source code of the modification (changing the splash screen is simple, but still you have to explain how you did, and how you built such a modified version).
