Zoom out in 3D

I downloaded the examples of SH3D, how do I zoom out in the 3D view? When I look at the 3D view it is too close. I'd like to be able to have more of a bird's eye view. I have a macbookpro. Thanks.

Did you try to select Aerial view mode in the 3D view menu?
