Issues With Pre-Downloaded Furnitue

I just downloaded Sweet Home again last night after I found my older version wasn't working anymore, and I actually had this issue before.
Some of the furniture that is already downloaded with Sweet Home is super tiny, and some of the windows and doors don't work as windows and doors.(?)
Is there a way to fix this in the program or do I just have to download the furniture again? Also I was trying to just fix the furniture sizes by modifying the furniture from the list but that didn't seem to work.
It's just an annoying problem, but any help is appreciated!

Many 3D models proposed on this site and elsewhere are not defined in centimeters (the default using of Sweet Home 3D); sometimes sizes are defined in inches, sometimes in meters and sometimes the designer didn't even care about any unit. That's why you have to take care of the correct size of each model you import during the 3rd step of the furniture import wizard.
