Problems with creating photos on Q3 and Q4

Hello. I'm a new user of this fantastic software. Since 2 days ago everything was ok but now, when I try to create a photo on quality 3 or 4 nothing happens, why?????I use a mac book pro with Lion and i updated Java to version 7.

Updating to Java 7 won't change anything since the installer version still uses Apple Java 6 until now. Java 7 is used only for the Mac App Store version but even in that case, installing/updating Java 7 on your system won't change anything, because that version of Sweet Home 3D comes with its private copy of Java.
To fix your problem, you should try to increase the max memory the program is allowed to use following instructions in the FAQ. Hope you can handle it...

Hello, I've the same Markox83's problem, but I use Linux (ubuntu 14.04 LTS). Following the FAQ I've read "Under Linux, edit SweetHome3D script, update the 1024 value in the option -Xmx1024m, save the script, then relaunch Sweet Home 3D."...but I dont understand how can I do it. Someone can help me? Thanks!

The SweetHome3D script is a text file. When you double click on it, Ubuntu should propose you to run it or display it. Choose to display it, then search for 1024, replace it by the value you want to test, save the file, and run it again.

ohhh!! I've finally find it! thanks Puybaret!!! thanks a lot!! But the problem is unresolved.... In the terminal
"Exception in thread "pool-18-thread-1" java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: GC overhead limit exceeded"

out of memory....probably my 4G are less then how much is necessary for this program. The project is on 4 level...
