Opening Home on different computers

I laid out a home on my PC running Windows 7 and saved it. I tried working with it on my netbook running Windows 8.1 and it would not open. I did a test home on my netbook and the PC would open it. Both computers are using Sweet Home 3d verstion 4.4.

Is this a Winsows compatability problem? Is there a work around if it is.

Sounds strange, have switched between W8, W8.1 and W7 and never encountered problems. You could test import and export in the online version to see what happens. ok
