Create Roads or Paths

Greetings

I have a country property and need to create a plan for the local council that shows buildings, vegetation etc... as I am planning a development and town planners just seem to enjoy placing yet another task on the list.

Part of the existing development consists of a number of roads and paths that I have to place on the plan.

I have the buildings and vegetation done but I am struggling with the roads. They have curves and it is this that I am struggling with. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could create them easily.

Draw the side of the roads as walls, which you make 1 cm wide and 1 cm high.
If you close the space at the end of the roads, you can easily create a "room" which you can give the appearance of a road by changing the texture.
