Create furniture

Good Morning folks,
I'm using Sweet Home 3D on Linux and I'm wondering how I create my own furniture and other room pieces.

Depends on your ambition, simple stuff you can make with SH3D, such as described in: blog on textured boxes, hansmex' roof/ceiling tutorial , thread 5158 staircases, thread 5100 roofs etc. You can make quite a lot using different size walls and objects and assemble them to what you want, the above links should give you a general idea.

But for more advanced stuff, as the 3D models import page suggests, any software that can create supported formats, will do. Blender or Art of Illusion often being suggested. As is Sketchup, but that does not run directly under Linux.
