It is possible to simulate natural light by placing large light sources near the outside openings.

How much ? [:D]It is possible to simulate natural light by placing large light sources near the outside openings.
What locations ? [:O]
Is it a secret story ? [:))]
Mixing the two would be better, but I don't see the articifial lighting inside... [:((]

No secret: just add to the plan a big source light very far from home.

Re: Simulation of natural light (daylight)
Here is an image showing outside lighting to enhance the sunlight

In this example the smaller "daylight" sources are set to 70% and the larger to 80%
The actual positionimg and power are a matter of trial and error.

@bdfd
artificial lighting

As you can see, with this type of rendering, the dark parts are those which are not affected by light.
As said Emmanuel and Mike, there is no secret.How much ?
