Factory or Warehouse Design?

Has anyone used Sweet Home 3D to design a small factory or warehouse? I'm exploring options (various 3D software) in hopes of finding something that will make it relatively easy.

Suggestions for other software that might do this are welcome, too, as long as that doesn't violate forum rules, of course.

SH3D is probably the easiest option you will have. And it is certainly possible to design a factory / warehouse. Starting drawing is not difficult (much easier than some of the alternatives). Several threads in the forum has discussions about various tools and furnishings that might fit.

The only way to find out, I guess, is to try. While SH3D may have some limitations compared to commercial packages, the forum will usually help provide solutions if you have trouble finding out how to do something.

Do not think so, head for the normal User's guide - principles are the same. There are also some blog posts (like How do you use..-, e.g. episode 10, episode 12) and forum threads that might be relevant or serve as inspiration. But it all depends on exactly what you have in mind.
