Service Layers

I am doing the plan of a multilevel house. Except for the roof and the staircase (more on this in another thread) it has work like a charm. So thanks for this great application.

I am now trying to add information regarding water pipes, electricity, etc. Nothing sophisticated, just creating polylines with different colors work fine for me. But it is becoming hard to edit them without touching the furniture, walls, etc by mistake.

Is there a way to have a "service layer". I am thinking something like a level but in which you see only the walls (not the furniture) corresponding to height where you are but you cannot edit them.

I tried creating a level at a midpoint between the floor and the ceiling but some of the furniture is still visible and all the walls are editable.

Make your level visible/invisible when/as needed.
