Don't show room area

I'm making floor plans that are a guide and don't need to be 100%.
So how can I display a room name w/o showing the area (which isn't accurate)?

Or how can I type in room dimensions, which may not be to the scale I've drawn it?

Double-click on the room and uncheck the option Display area in the room modification pane that will appear.
