long prep time before creating a video

In the latest version of SH3D I'm noticing that it takes a long time before starting a video render. In my case it's more than 30 minutes. After that it starts rendering the video frames. Is anyone else seeing this? Is there any way to avoid this prep time?

During the initial 30 minutes only 1 core is used. After it starts actually rendering frames then all the cores are used.

If that time is comparable to the time taken by the photo creation tool, that's normal. In case you didn't increase the max memory used by Sweet Home 3D, that could worth a try (see FAQ How can I adjust the memory used by Sweet Home 3D? )
