Java version to be used on Mac

Hi,

Please excuse me if this question was posted here previously.
I am using SweetHome v.5.6 on macOS High Sierra 10.13.1. Both Java 1.6.0 and 1.8.0 are installed, but in app's About box I am seeing, that it uses version 1.6.0. Should I do anything to force it to using 1.8.0 or that's completely OK?

If you want to run Sweet Home 3D with Java 8, you'll have to use the Java Web Start or Jar executable versions. Both are available in Download page.
