UI updates to SH?

Post by ndorigatti »

Hi developer(s),
i was looking into a friend's post regarding swing UI, and ended up here:
https://github.com/kirill-grouchnikov/substance

it seems to be a nice UI (still not dug into the code or seen any sample app), that maybe can apply to SweetHome3D?

As a java developer i like it, unfortunately I'll have not time for the next months to try it out, but I'm quite interested in it... Do you think could be a nice improvement for SW3D?

You can change the look and feel of Sweet Home 3D by setting -Dswing.defaultlaf Java option followed by the LAF class. Of course, if some additional classes are required to run it, you'll have to modify the classpath.

Can you please demonstrate how to do this? Thanks!
