long time for videorendering

I try to make a videorendering, but it takes enormously long, perhaps more than 1 day (2nd best quality). Is that normal? Is there a way to shorten it?

Hi,

Yes, it takes enormous amounts of time. For each second of movie, the computer makes 25 images.
You can reduce the resolution of the movie, to speed things up.

Thanks, I did that, but it still takes much time.But is there a way to test it first, to see how it will be, before I start the rendering.

On my computer it makes a "Estimated time left" after some time.
I just bought a new 8700K based computer. I use another computer most of the time. You can send me your project, and I will try to render it for you. Send me a PM if you're interested.

You can test the motions of your video by selecting the lowest quality level, or even by clicking on the play button.
