Model of LED Strip working or Create a Singular LED Chip working

Hi, i have found a lot of LED strip model in the WEB ( in 3ds or obj) but noone can be use like a light. So if i put them in the project and i try to rendering a photo the strip led doesn't produce light.

So where can i find free LED Strip?
Or do you know how i can create a strip led with the real lighting?

I would also need you to help me create a single LED with the basic features (Lumen or Lux) and then I would create a strip with that single repeated LED, then I would create the 3DS model and import it.


I would also need this LED to have a variable intensity that goes from the declared Lumens (which would be equivalent to 100%) and that the brightness can be scaled to see the various lighting effects .. (just as it works for the LIGHTS already present in the Sweet Home 3D).

You can inspirate yourself with two of my projects.

1. Modern stairs : Here

2. Garden lights : Here

After downloading, rename file's extension in zip.
Open them and extract files.

Look at all files and the declaration of a light in properties file and update all words beginning by 'light'.

You should can reproduce your own project.

Garden light

So i have downloaded the file Borne.sh3d, i change the extension from sh3d into .zip than i open the zip file and i found :

- Borne.png
- PluginFurnitureCatalog.properties
- FOLDER : BORNE and in it :
- Borne.mtl
- Borne.obj
- Borne_top.png

I cannot open the properties file whileif i put the obj file in sweethome 3d it loads only the object but without light options...

Hi,

You must extract all files in new subdirectory.
Open properties file with a texteditor (Notepad, notepade++,...).

After updates, you must create new zip file and rename it in sh3f.
So you can import it into sh3d by double click.
