dimensions and poly lines, how to nudge or step length with keypad or similar

dimensions and poly lines, how to nudge or step length with keypad or similar

for both polyline and dimensions is there some way to nudge or say 1/8" step the length instead have to drag the [+] icon, its too blunt when getting into < 1/2" dimension.
