How do I delete a section of a wall (create a room)

Hi all,
I am a newbie and have a question for the pros:

I am creating a 2D plan for a flat remodel to give to my contractor:

I created 3 adjacent rooms (no external wall yet).
A section of a wall that is common to two rooms will be removed in order to create a larger room (a kitchen). The room will no longer be a rectangular shape.
Now, how do I 'delete' the section of the wall in order to open up the two rooms?
Does the SH3D software allow to delete sections of a room or walls?

If not, how would you perform this operation in 2D?

For wall question:
1. Select the wall between two rooms;
2. Right click on selected wall;
3. Split wall;
4. Delete one section;
5. Resize the remaining section to Your desire length.

For room question You have two options:
1. Delete one room & resize manually the remain.(It's a little bit hard)
2. Delete both rooms & recreate automatically by double clicking inside the new walls area. (It's the easy one)
