Installation OK Cannot Save Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could help with the error I am getting!? Every time I try to save in any directory (local or network) I get the following error: "Can't Save home in "C:\3d\home.sh3d" RecorderException: Can't save home C:\3d\home.sh3d java.io.IOException: Access is Denied" Any ideas on where to start? Using Windows 8 and the latest Java and SweetHome3D. Had to install the SweetHome3D.l4j.ini to make it work at all. Many thanks! |

Re: Installation OK Cannot Save Either C:\3d folder doesn't exist, or you don't have the right to write in that folder. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: Installation OK Cannot Save Hi guys, thanks for the speedy response. I created the c:\3d folder and can browse to it in the save dialog box. I have full permissions on the folder (I am an administrator) and have given 'Everyone' full permissions on the folder. Same error if I try to save to Desktop, and my Documents folder. |

Re: Installation OK Cannot Save There is no need to give java permission to write to the folder(s) I suppose? |

Re: Installation OK Cannot Save There is no need to give java permission to write to the folder(s) I suppose? That would be a little tedious for many users... ![]() ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
