I created and imported a trapezoidal window. How do I create wall hatch for it?
I don't understand why if I add a window from the SH3D built in furniture library, I can insert it in a wall and I don't need a hatch, but if I create my own window, I need a hatch. Guess what... if I have a non conventional (trapezoidal) window, there is no way to find a trapezoidal hatch for it. I am stuck... please help
Guys I really like this application but it lacks some basic features. Any idea?

When you import a model that you want to use as for our window, you need to check the box door-window. Read the user guide...

Be sure that the wall where you placed the window has a null arc extent because Sweet Home 3D isn’t able to compute not rectangular shapes in round walls until now. Would it be your case?

I just checked on my side with a similar hole in a wall and it worked with no problem. Share you window model, it might be handy to understand your issue.

The front face of your model is its border which is rectangular. Rotating it 90° in the second step of the Furniture import wizard will fix your issue.
