I'm adding to this thread because I'm such a newb it's embarassing.
Basically, I have to design a booth for my gallery.
The part I'm having trouble with is, I need to make paintings as furniture objects. I only have them as Jpegs, how can i make them into something importable?

Fortunately the choice of the word "inane" is yours. Have you thought of reading the manuals? This section is not too bad... especially where it says
click on the Import button
Surprise, that import button is visible whenever you Modify something...
