sw3d 3.3 won't run after installation

I had an older version of sw3d installed and couldn't get it to run when I went to use it last week. I came to the site and saw there was an updated version so I downloaded it.

Last evening I had time to "play" with it and it did just fine. I was running on battery power so shut it down for mealtime. After that I cannot get it to start. After I click on the desktop icon or click the program name the busy circle goes for about 30 seconds and then nothing. I have shut off my anti-virus program, firewall, windows defender, and anything that could be stopping it. No luck. I uninstalled it, downloaded the windows installation package again, and same thing. Anyone have advice on what to do next? I've read the FAQs.

I have the same trouble. The startup screen stays on and nothing happens. Isn't there any solution available still? [:-/]
