How to add a "Skyline image"?

Hi,

Is there a way to add a photography that shows the "infinite" horizontal view outside the windows? All I could find is "Background" and sky images, but this cannot be used to show f.e. the view to the opposite house -- and it would be too much effort to simulate that in 3d as well.

You could add a thin box in front of the window and apply a texture on it.

The problem is that this box would block the sunlight and would also not be homogeniously illuminated.
