cannot import models from 3d warehouse

I've downloaded several models from the 3d warehouse & always get the message that the model can't be read when I try to import it. I have a screenshot but can't figure out how to attach it to this message.

Perhaps an error during dowloading.
Try again with another model then the same...

If it doesn't work, there is a problem from the author's upload.

I was download kmz/dae file to import in SH3D. That's work....!!!
Even when i download from 3D wirehouse or another site model wirehouse it's work.

Chek your file first before you import it.

Normally 3DWarhouse .dae files will import without problems. Does the screenshot say "The format of the chosen model isn't supported..." - or something else?

If you post a link to one of the 3Dwarehouse models you tried, it would be easier to see whether there are problems with the models (.dae/.kmz files) you have tried.

If you use the Mac App Store version of Sweet Home 3D, you should import 3D models in zip archives.

Thank you so much! I compressed the downloaded dae files into a zip file & it now works!
